Patient: female, 45 y o.
Transverse myelitis
Date: September 2021
Complaints: legs weakness and anesthesia.
Neurologically: anesthesia below dermatome Th5. Tendon reflexes D=S, upper limbs, D≤S lower limbs, week. Particular urinary incontinence. Muscle strength MRC 5 upper limbs, MRC2 lower limbs.
MRI (11.03.2019): Atrophic changes of spinal cord on Th5-Th8. Edema of spinal cord on level C4-Th4, paramagnetic accumulation on Th1-Th10 (Fig.1).
High level of Herpes Zoster antibodies blood content
13.07.2019 treatment: intravenous (IV) and intrathecal infusion of allogenic umbilical cord derived stem cells were performed.

MRI (04.11.2019): Atrophic changes of spinal cord on Th5-Th6. There is no edema of spinal cord on level C4-Th4. Slight paramagnetic accumulation on Th7-Th8 (Fig.2).
Neurologically: anesthesia below dermatome Th10. Tendon reflexes D=S, upper limbs, D=S lower limbs, week. Urinary incontinence absent. Muscle strength MRC 5 upper limbs, MRC3 lower limbs.
Recommendations are given to patient. Control period of observation: 3, 6, 12 month after treatment.
